Accreditation and Mentoring Programme

An Open College Network (OCN) course for the WOMAD Outreach Programme, has been developed and is available available to over 15s. Several of these courses ran very successfully in both 2014 and in the first quarter of 2015.

WOMAD presents a Culture of Peace Legacy for Coleraine

During February and March a variety of artists representing the world's most prestigious international arts festival WOMAD will hold an extensive intercultural educational programme. This features on the world of music, arts and dance in Coleraine, following a very successful outreach programme hosted in the Borough last September as part of Coleraine Borough Council's Culture Night.

Belfast hosts WOMAD event for Fête de la Musique aka World Music Day. Through significant funding from Belfast City Council's Creative Legacies programme, supported by the European Regional Development Fund under the PEACE III Programme the first phase of a four year WOMAD outreach programme encompassing festivals and showcase events has started with schools in Belfast.
